I got my balloon :)

So mommy kept one of the balloons since it was all heliumed out anyways :) I think it was awesome! It was the lightest toy I've every played with and that ribbon was pretty :)

Kaitlin's Angelversary

It was today that two years ago mommy and daddy had to decide to let Kaitlin play with the angels again. Which is okay, she picked me out and sent me to them because she thought I was a pretty special girl and they should have me. Each year mommy and daddy release balloons on this day to send her messages. Well this year it didn't go how mommy had planned. Yesterday we went to the store and she picked out three purple balloons and had them filled. She usually waits until around 10pm to release them since thats when Kaitlin went to "sleep". But as the day progressed the balloons stopped floating, they were almost touching the floor when mommy decided they couldn't wait. Oh and also...only two of them made it...the third one...well it's dead laying on the floor :\ The video is of the balloon release, but that didn't go well either...since they went quickly up and over the apt...mommy tried running down the stairs to see them out the front door, but they were gone.

(I think Kaitlin was just in a hurry to get her balloons this year. I mean they are pretty cool looking things! When do you think mommy will be buy me one? )

Then mommy set up this cool new ball toy and I'm all about sitting up and playing with it :)

I LOVE that you showed mommy and daddy this really cool video called the Ferret Dance. Mommy likes to play it for me on occasion and I can't get enough of it!!! They are just so darn cool! I don't ever know where the next one is going to pop up! And that tune is so catchy!

Another Playdate!

Mommy had another group of kiddos come for a visit. I don't mind sharing my toys, as long as I can chew on their shoes...hehehe.

Just comparing Ellie's gums to mine. I think mine are flatter, but it's hard to tell.

I hope we get to do this again sometime :) The day after this playdate though, I got a cough and then the day after that I got a fever :\ But I'm sure I will get well soon and be back to my old self soon :)

Some more first bites :)

Here's my first taste of mangos. Mommy said they were pretty good but had a little bit of a strong "melon" taste. I don't mind them, but I also don't like them all THAT much. I hope mommy doesn't buy them again.

Puffs! These were different. I had to chew them...which I normally don't really need to do. But they were yummy. I don't know how mommy picks them up though. I try, but then I don't know what to do with them. They don't feel like something I want to put in my mouth, but I like it when mommy does it for me :) Just like how she gives me water from a straw now too (sometimes).

These were interesting tasting. I like them more now that I've had them a few times. I think I needed to get used to the thickness over the taste. They are much thicker than the other foods mommy has been giving me. Oh these also have carrots in them to make them tastier, so they aren't JUST spinach and potatoes :) Mommy realized that after she gave them to me, but I have had the other things so it's all good :)

This one is a food mommy hopes becomes one of my favorites since it's one of hers..pears and RASPBERRIES. They were pretty yummy :)

If you don't laugh, I don't know whats wrong with you...

...because that spinny thing is SERIOUSLY funny!!

How I drive Mommy Nuts

Mommy says, just play the video and imagine listening to it ALL day long...then you will understand. (I don't understand myself, I'm just talking but I know she always seems happy when it's nap time).

Yesterday while we were visiting Uncle Jesse and Aunt Lisa, mommy and daddy bought me another new toy :) It's a walker! So this morning on my very first Valentine's Day I got to try it out :) yay! But...my feet didn't reach the ground very well, I can barely touch :\ I had fun with the new toys however :)

We then went out for lunch and mommy and daddy did some MORE shopping. As if being all day in the Syracuse mall wasn't enough. But today it was more food things. Then we went to Paneri Bread, where mommy accidentally bit my finger and daddy picked on her about it. Which made mommy more upset since I was already crying since she BIT my finger! I guess it was my fault I do put them in her mouth alot, but geesh. I don't think Daddy should pick on mommy like that either, she didn't mean to do it. Oh and all I have to say about the picture above, is come one mom...enough with the PINK!

Mommy bought me a new treat to try. They are cookies of some sort I think. I had fun eating it down :) Daddy called it my appetizer. hehehehe.

Oh and look what mommy got me for Valentines Day. I love it! It's kind of yummy :)

The Sennhiesers

So daddy let me listen to his really cool headphones. But I don't know what that stuff was he was calling music. Didn't sound like anything I would call music.

Does anyone know what the Sennhieser method is? Daddy says sometimes that if I don't stop whining he's going to use the Sennhieser Method...does that mean I get to listen to music again?

The Applesauce Explosion!

So mommy gave me an applesauce cup to explore...and by explore I mean make a HUGE mess. Daddy even made a comment about how if he set out to cover the tray in applesauce he wouldn't have thought about doing the sides like I did :) It was interesting. I didn't eat any of it though...it was fun to just squish it all over the place.

Well I did lick it off the cup some, that was yummy. I couldn't quite get the whole thing in my mouth though.

Mommy just wants to add a BIG thank you to daddy for cleaning that mess up :)

They didn't look exactly like what mommy had me in, but they were green.

I do NOT like Avacados!!!

So Mommy had the bright idea of getting some avacados and mashing them up for me. HA they were nasty! What was mommy thinking????? This video doesn't even show the extent to how much I detest them. Mommy tried giving me a few bites of peaches and cereal and then some avacado, yup I puked up my whole breakfast trying to get that nastiness out of my mouth! So I think I sent mommy a clear picture of what I thought of that green pukiness they try to call a fruit...yuck!

Happy Birthday Kaitlin!

2 years ago mommy gave birth to my big sister Kaitlin. She wasn't that big though. She was a tiny baby coming a little less than 3 months early. She was only 2lb 10oz. Kaitlin had lots of problems and in the coming two weeks mommy will probably spend alot of time thinking about all of them. But it's okay mommy is allowed to be sad. I miss her too. She picked me out for mommy and daddy and I was sent to help heal their broken heart (even if it is just a little bit).

I want to take this time to remind everyone of how special Kaitlin was. How special it was that through our modern technology she was given a chance she would have never had. And without organizations like the March of Dimes there wouldn't be that technology. Mommy works hard on her miscarriage blankets, but she would love to see help from family and friends as well. Baby Play Date

Mommy set up a day for all my new little friends to come over to play. It was neat seeing other people my size :) The big people thought they could maybe get us all together for pictures...it didn't work so well...

But in case you were wondering all our names...from left to right...
Jocelyn, Emilie, Ellie, and Madelyn. They are all younger than me, lol. Mommy doesn't remember the exact months of each, but Madelyn is only a few weeks younger, then Jocelyn is a few months and Ellie was the youngest of the group.

Oh Aiden was there too :) He liked inspecting the baby toys to make sure they were fun :) Oh and he was a great help in bringing us toys to play with when we couldn't reach them ourselves.

Look at all that pink ;) lol.
Xavier will have to come to the next one just so he can be the prince amongst all the princesses ;) hehehe

Mommy's Birthday :)

Mommy turned 28 on Sunday. So daddy planned a party for her. I even got to go too!!

All sorts of peoples came to celebrate with mommy. Like Kevin and Tracy. They are the mommy and daddy of Jocelyn (she's in the next picture).


Mommy was sitting beside Rebekah (the nurse who helped her while she was pregnant with Kaitlin, who helped throw my baby shower and who is a good friend :) ), Brian and Emily (who will be getting married this year on Daddy's birthday :) ) and thats Jocelyn!

This is Jessica and Ethan...Jessica is the French teacher mommy shared a room with the year she taught a long, long time ago :) It was so much fun meeting Ethan we hadn't met him yet.


Then there was this table of people who just were too rowdy to sit with the rest of us, we had put them at their own table ;) hehehehe...Don't they look like trouble makers? These mommy has met because of daddy working at IBM and the New Blue program :) There is Yanique, Cody, Javier and Dan.

Oh and just to add there were other peoples there too, like Christina came and Uncle Tom was taking the pictures, so he wasn't ever caught on camera. Oh and Dan's Girlfriend Sarah never got in a shot either...
