Movement :)

I've been on the fence if I've been feeling the baby move or not... today I am no longer on that fence. Not sure if the baby just doesn't like these pants (the band isn't tight but it does sit right above my pubic bone) But I KNOW I've felt the little bugger while cooking Easter Dinner :) I'll take it :)

14 weeks today :)

I plan on using some more of her photos to show how big the baby is getting :) Its sort of surreal to me still there is something that big in me right now :) But I'm looking forward to hearing feeling her kicks :) (and for some reason I keep saying her so it probably means it's a boy, lol). 

Easter Morning :)

Wow there are EGGS everywhere!!!

Easter chick :) Yay!

I was sure spoiled by that bunny. Not only did I get some money in the eggs he hide, but I also got all kinds of toys and candy! Thank you big ole bunny for stopping in! See you next year!

Decorating Eggs!

Tomorrow is Easter so it's time to decorate some eggs!! We are getting ready! 

First we have to measure out some water and vinegar. 

Then we add in the coloring and wait..... 

Now they are ready to dip! 

 

Then take them out... 

Look at all the pretty colors... but I think they are boring still... 

They need STAMPS!

Ultrasound

I went for an ultrasound today :)
The baby was measuring around 14 weeks but I'm being kept at 13 weeks. I did talk to my OB about my concerns and she said she had already planned on inducing me at 39 weeks so no worries about the dates being off :) So the babe will come around the 21st or sooner (if I go in labor on my own).

Everything looks good so yay! They did all sorts of measurements since the babe was situated nicely and they could see them all. In three weeks I see the OB again and then we will be scheduling the big ultrasound :)

Cerclage is in :)

Got to the hospital around 11, brought back to the OR around 1pm and out just after 2pm. Left the hospital around 4. I was put under general anesthesia rather than twilight, but all went well. 

(Add On -- I did have trouble the next few days with soreness due to the muscle relaxers in the meds they give you for general. I also had trouble with my breathing. But three days later and all pain has gone and breathing is getting better.)
