Born early, but that didn't stop her :) She's now a healthy one year old! (well 9 months adjusted). But wow! She's pulling herself up on things and eating solid foods. I can't believe how much she's changed and grown over this past year. She's topping the scale at 14lbs now :) Go Violet!

Daddy's Birthday Party

Mommy forgot about having pictures of Daddy's birthday party...so here they are :)
It seemed like a REALLY long walk to the park...I just couldn't keep my eyes open anymore!

Mommy and Daddy played some whiffle ball with everyone while I slept a little more and then ate some yogurt treats.


Mommy brought a little kite, which was my size. We tried flying it, it actually worked fairly well :)

Then we ended the park stuff with playing some lawn darts.

While some of just chilled on the side of the hill. Mommy tried getting me to roll down it, but I'm smarter than that :) hehehehe

Oh and I got to swing!

My Boys :)

There aren't many boys that come to our playdates, and only two are really old enough to play too with the rest of us babies. So let me introduce you to what mommy calls my potential husbands-to-be ;)

First up Xavier :) Whom you've already seen around :) He's still a big boy, but I'm big enough I can take him on! We love to crawl around together. Xavier likes playing with all the balls mommy has here for us. He even copied me when I drank my bottle. He's a few months older than me.




Then there is Ryan. Who we just met a monthish ago. He's a little bit smaller than me, but doesn't seem to mind too much when I climb all over him and squish his face up.


He even stays still so i can give him kisses :)

And I really like his shoes :) I couldn't decide what I wanted to do more, kiss him or suck on shoes...so I just did both :) hehehehe.




He's a little younger. So I guess I have to decide if I want to be a cougar or have myself a sugar daddy. Hmmm decisions decisions. Oh well I have atleast a year to decide to I can take my time with it :) hehehehehe

Another Playdate :)

The playdates seem to be getting popular :) Which makes it super fun for mommy and me. We had to sit this week's out. I wasn't feeling well yesterday and mommy didn't want me spreading my germs, so we stayed in. Someday we might make it to a playdate NOT at our apartment, but until then here are some pictures ;)

What I did on Easter :)

Did I tell you the Easter Bunny came?? He didn't bring me candy..but he did bring me some new toys ;)


I like that penguin...he's fun to punch...daddy shows me how :) hehehehe

Oh mommy and I also planted some seeds :) Look at me helping her!

Yup mommy this pot looks big enough and all cleaned out :)


So the directions say to put these dirt circles in the pot...okay...
yes mommy I heard you NOT in my mouth.

Then we water it....1 cup of water is what is said right?

(I let mommy be the one to put the seeds in ...they were TINY!)
But I found the sunniest spot to put the pot :)
Mommy said it couldn't go out there, but I thought it looked pretty good :)


(disclaimer...mommy wants me to tell you all that I was out there for a very short period of time under the supervision of both mommy and daddy, I never once got near the edge of the balcony and the balcony does have chicken wire stapled all around it so I wasn't in much danger, although both mommy and daddy agree they don't want to test the strength of the chicken wire ever. Mommy doesn't want any of the grandparents freaking out over this ver innocent picture ;) No need to call child services either ;) )

We went to the zoo!

So Easter weekend we went to the zoo!!! Yay!!

Painting Videos!

Oh how much fun the paint was! I wonder when mommy will let let paint again :)

In this first one...it's my first time EVER touching paint :) It was cool. I love how it made the white of the paper turn blue and green. I even got to turn other things blue too :)



Mommy found that the paper in the first video ripped when she tried to take it off my tray. She she asked me to do ANOTHER one for Daddy on better paper. I was happy to do it...it meant I got to play with the goopy colorful stuff longer :)

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Today is my Daddy's Birthday :) Look at what I made him :) It was my second art project...it was supposed to be my first, but my first attempt ripped in half so mommy had be try again. She will post videos of it later :) Daddy says it looks like a boat...here is how :) What do you think it looks like?

But really I just want to say how much I love my daddy :) I love him so much my shirt even says it!

Daddy and Mommy's friend Javier is moving back to Florida today (can anyone blame him?), so we went to a party for him a few days ago. We're going to miss him! I mean who else is going to teach me how to swear in Spanish?

Mommy's New Couch Cover

So the couch is still in awesome shape, but it's getting a few holes in it. Mommy wanted to do something about it so it still looked nice, so she found this couch cover. She went with something floral since a solid color would show the kitty hairs, and with having one dark and one light colored cat you really can't pick a color that will hide both of them...so here I can sitting on the couch...can you find me?

Reflections

So this one is old, its from when we were north this past time. But here I am looking into grandma's mirror one morning. Mommy wouldn't let me put on some makeup.

Look at me in the big bath tub :) I'm sitting a bath seat that mommy surrounded by bubbles. I wasn't so sure about the bubbles...I just like the water...the bubbles kind of freak me out.

Playdates!

Mommy has been a little slow getting the playdate pictures up for everyone to see...but I do have friends over from time to time :)

Playdates sure do tucker me out too. I usually take a nap right after everyone leaves, but sometimes I don't even make it until then! It's fun sharing my toys. I learn new things too from watching the other babies. Thats what I like to do the best. I just like to watch them most of the time. In the picture above I'm getting kisses from Sonyea, and Zia is sittingon Jocelyn. Then there is Aiden who is hanging out in the playgym and Maddie who is crawling over the teddy bear mirror. We are missing Ellie and Xavier who came later.
