I got my balloon :)

So mommy kept one of the balloons since it was all heliumed out anyways :) I think it was awesome! It was the lightest toy I've every played with and that ribbon was pretty :)

Kaitlin's Angelversary

It was today that two years ago mommy and daddy had to decide to let Kaitlin play with the angels again. Which is okay, she picked me out and sent me to them because she thought I was a pretty special girl and they should have me. Each year mommy and daddy release balloons on this day to send her messages. Well this year it didn't go how mommy had planned. Yesterday we went to the store and she picked out three purple balloons and had them filled. She usually waits until around 10pm to release them since thats when Kaitlin went to "sleep". But as the day progressed the balloons stopped floating, they were almost touching the floor when mommy decided they couldn't wait. Oh and also...only two of them made it...the third one...well it's dead laying on the floor :\ The video is of the balloon release, but that didn't go well either...since they went quickly up and over the apt...mommy tried running down the stairs to see them out the front door, but they were gone.

(I think Kaitlin was just in a hurry to get her balloons this year. I mean they are pretty cool looking things! When do you think mommy will be buy me one? )

Then mommy set up this cool new ball toy and I'm all about sitting up and playing with it :)

I LOVE that you showed mommy and daddy this really cool video called the Ferret Dance. Mommy likes to play it for me on occasion and I can't get enough of it!!! They are just so darn cool! I don't ever know where the next one is going to pop up! And that tune is so catchy!

Another Playdate!

Mommy had another group of kiddos come for a visit. I don't mind sharing my toys, as long as I can chew on their shoes...hehehe.

Just comparing Ellie's gums to mine. I think mine are flatter, but it's hard to tell.

I hope we get to do this again sometime :) The day after this playdate though, I got a cough and then the day after that I got a fever :\ But I'm sure I will get well soon and be back to my old self soon :)

Some more first bites :)

Here's my first taste of mangos. Mommy said they were pretty good but had a little bit of a strong "melon" taste. I don't mind them, but I also don't like them all THAT much. I hope mommy doesn't buy them again.

Puffs! These were different. I had to chew them...which I normally don't really need to do. But they were yummy. I don't know how mommy picks them up though. I try, but then I don't know what to do with them. They don't feel like something I want to put in my mouth, but I like it when mommy does it for me :) Just like how she gives me water from a straw now too (sometimes).

These were interesting tasting. I like them more now that I've had them a few times. I think I needed to get used to the thickness over the taste. They are much thicker than the other foods mommy has been giving me. Oh these also have carrots in them to make them tastier, so they aren't JUST spinach and potatoes :) Mommy realized that after she gave them to me, but I have had the other things so it's all good :)

This one is a food mommy hopes becomes one of my favorites since it's one of hers..pears and RASPBERRIES. They were pretty yummy :)
